I recently purchased two of these cabs to go with my GK MB500 head. Having already been happy with the tone of my head, I was looking for a cabinet/s that would be transparent, punchy and most of all, light. These cabs have certainly fit the bill. They weigh in at little over 11kgs and they are small enough to fit neatly into the back of pretty much any car. The ultimate test of the ease at which you can carry them was when our singer actually offered to carry them out to the car for me after a gig! Never happened ever before... As for the sound, they are fantastic. I found that they produced a full and clear tone, all the way down to the low B. I really do love the sound of the GK heads (ever since owning an RB400), so I am really happy with the way these feather light speakers reproduce the sound that I strive for. For a decent sized club or wedding venue, I don't believe that you could get away with one cabinet alone - two are a must in my opinion. The fit and finish on these cabs is amazing. The attention to detail is unbelievable and can be noticed everywhere. They look fantastic as a stack on the stage. The only dilemma I have with them is that they have a side mounted carry handle, but no rubber feet on the opposing side for when you're getting them out of the car / manoeuvring into venues. All in all, there is no way I could give these anything other than five stars. I'm really happy with them and would certainly recommend them to other bass players.
