The new Sadowsky Metro Express series are a great improvement on the initial release models. Now with a Roasted Maple neck, original Sadowsky logo on the headstock, upgraded noiseless pickups and an active 2 band preamp, this series delivers the tone and feel that Sadowsky instruments are known for. 

The super slick roasted maple neck is a joy to play. Origanially shaped to deliver a very fast playability whilst still providing the right amount of neck depth, this profile feels fantastic in the hands. The Roasted maple gives this bass excellent stability as well as fast attack and responce. 

Featuring an Okume body which gives you the classic warm tones of alder, beautiful mids and low mid growl whilst also producing a solid bottom end. The body is contoured and slightly reduced in size to give you that added Sadowsky comfort. 

The new noiseless JJ pickups allow you to solo out your pickup of choice and drill down into the tones. The Vintage JJ features a twin J pickup configuration which delivers superb tonal articulation. If you want to slice through the mix and have clarity and definition, this is your bass. Combine all of this with Sadowsky's brilliant 2 band active preamp and you have an instrument designed to perfom seemlessly live and in the studio. 

Roger Sadowsky is reputed to have kicked off the idea of the "Super J" in the late 80's, instruments that are designed to deliver higher levels of comfort, performance and articulation than a traditional instrument.
