Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Jazz Bass Journeyman
The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Jazz Bass Journeyman is based on a transition era Jazz from 1966-1969. During this era Fender started binding their Jazz bass necks, they introduced Block inlays and for a short period they used the Oval tuning heads that are still sort after to this day.
Featuring a two piece select Alder body, Quarterwasn Maple neck with rosewood fretboard, bound and blocked for premium looks and feel. With a nut width of 1.5" the feel is classic Jazz, super comfortable in the hands and absolute silk to the ears. The neck has a 9.5" radius, 1.5" nut and is finished in a dark tint nitrocelulose laquer.
The Journeyman finish is class all the way. a 3 tone sunburst nitrocelulose laquer finish with signs of play wear and aging.....its an old friend waiting to be discovered.
