The Sire Marcus Miller V5 i purchased from the Bass Centre recently turned out to be a considerably better instrument than it's price point would suggest. I've never bought a musical instrument without testing it out personally beforehand, but due to current world circumstances and the lack of quality stock available in my home town, i took the plunge and ordered online. Maybe i was lucky, i hope that Sire quality control is relatively uniform for the sake of other buyers, as this bass punches well above it own weight. A very good example of a j-type bass that is easily as good, if not better than many of the competing brands offerings which occupy a similar or higher price bracket. I'm already scrutinizing my budget to see how soon i can make room for "just one more" ...
