Perfect tone
I bought this cabinet to support my Ampeg SVT 15E classic and I couldn’t be happier. It really brings punch and responsiveness to harder faster slapping songs and supports the 15 inch cabinet with a nice tight high end frequencies when playing all the styles of music I like to play. Smooth with my Fender P bass, growls with my Musicman. Love it, Thanks for the recommendation from the Bass Centre.

BIG TONE in a 17 kg box.
The holy trinity is not what I thought it was. IT'S a 'P' Bass with an Ampeg SVT 7 Pro ( or PF500 ) and this Amazing Markbass 102HF cab. Wanted to downsize from my 610HLF for certain gigs without sacrificing tone and I couldn't be happier. I got a sneaky suspicion that Marco designed these Front Ported Cabs around the Ampeg tone. Its a Neutral Flat sounding cab which doesn't seem to have any bumps at certain frequencies. This makes the Ampeg and P bass absolutely shine, all the notes across the fretboard feel full of life and articulate and the richness of bass it captures is gorgeous. Strangely, i didn't get the same satisfaction when I tried the Markbass LMIII head thru this cab. Who would have thought - Markbass with Ampeg - but then again the Sopranos wasn't half bad hey. And a big thanks again to the boys at Bass Centre - amazing service.
