Ampeg SVT Cl Classic (American Made Series) - Pre 2006

Have one of the last in the american models pre change to Loud Technologies - SLM St Louis America Model. Great Rock n Roll Amp, if you need the bass player in your band to cut through the mix and sink with your drummer then these bad boys are the ducks guts. Very loud and great bottom end. Very reliable as the american made version, would use Loud Technology versions. Hence Ampeg coming out with the Heritage Series to combat the ****** non american made SVT's. Only issue's cost to replace complete set of valve's, and the weight to carry over time..

None Better

When you want the best, you get this bad boy! As Jeremy Clarkson would say, this thing has "POW-WAAAA!!!". The only downsides I can think of this that it's bloody heavy and that it loves being loud. The amp really comes to life when the master gets turned past 3. Unfortunately, your guitarists will winge that anything past 2 is too loud, particularly when you love cranking the gain, like myself. All in all, awesome amo!

What else would you expect?

Beautiful amp. Using my Stingray I can create a huge range of tones that can be used to suit anything!
