Darkglass B7K V2

With the Microtubes B7K v2 you get all the features of the original, with the ability to better sculpture your tone: on the low mids you have the option to change the center frequency from 1KHz to 500Hz, and on the high mids you have the option to change the center frequency from 3kHz to 1.5kHz. This will enable you to tailor your absolute dream distortion tone.

The character and core of the Microtubes B7K remains the same, still retaining the powerful dynamic saturation circuit of the B3K and adds a four-band equalizer and a balanced line driver for even greater versatility. Designed for both studio and live use, it will take your direct sound to a whole new level.

Darkglass is the stuff of legend

Amazing pedal, have had it around a month now and have already ordered a microtubes 500 head. The darkglass tone is just monstrous!

Darkglass Microtubes B7k - The last pedal you will ever need.

Got this monster in the mail a few days ago, and I absolutely could not be happier. Honestly, it sounded beyond incredible right out of the box. I hardly tweeked it for maybe a minute and I was instantly playing all sorts of things off the top of my head. The versatility of this pedal is really inspiring. I'm not a shoe-gazer by any means, though I have tried out more than my fair share of overdrive pedals throughout the years, without any real success that's worth mentioning. I really couldn't be more pleased, and honestly I would have paid twice as much.

Grinding goodness

This beast absolutely nails the grinding sound I was after. Or if you prefer having just a subtle hint of overdrive, it does that perfectly as well. Tons of tonal variety through the 4 band EQ, grunt and attack switches, and drive, level, and blend knobs. Also really useful having the parallel out jack, if you want to bi-amp with one clean and one dirty. A master output control would be perfect, as the distortion sounds best to me when cranked (like a good tube amp), so there's a significant difference in volume between my clean and dirty tones if I run it in series. However, you can easily remedy this by running it parallel through a loop switcher with volume controls. So if you're looking to buy a drive pedal/preamp that can nail any level of grind from subtle grit to pure filth, this is the one to get.

Gritty Grunt!!!

I've purchased a lot of gear over the years - this pedal is phenomenal, one of the best investments I've made! What got me onto it was watching a dude off of YouTube, "Patrick Hunter". He pairs up a Fender Jazz with the Darkglass and holy **** it is bad ***! Check this guy's YouTube channel to see how it sounds [here is a goodie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0-PLxd7whE ]
