American Fender Short Scale
Over time I have turned over my guitars to result in a prime collection of Fender, Gibson, Reverend, Guild and Ibanez basses; however my favourites are the US made basses and in particular, as I get older I have tended toward short scale. The Mustang in Aubergine looks beautiful and apart from setting up the intonation everything is just as it should be - plays great and is my goto bass for the next few months at least.

Absolute stellar bass
Oh man I’ve had one of these puppies for a fair bit now, gee wiz I’m in love. I got it in surf green and it was a bit too bright for me so I road wore it and it’s so gorgeous. Sounds amazing, feels amazing, looks amazing. If you want a mustang, definitely go for this bad boy over the ones with the p bass pickup, the mustang sounds hot as. The jazz bass pick up is also hot as. I got it to fit into the band like a normal bassist rather than the main display, it accomplished that easy, but it secretly can funk it up hard. The short scale is sick as to play funk with just cause of how easy it is. I run it through a Rumble 500 and it sounds amazing. All in all, fender your the love of my life please keep making higher end mustang basses!

Great bass
Needed something maller than my USA made Fender P-bass due to shoulder problems. Went for this one and I love it! Sounds, plays and looks great. Holds up in the band mix very well playing through a Fender Rumble 500w combo. It is slightly longer than other Mustangs I believe and little bit heavier than I expected but definitely a winner for me.
