Dr Strings Lo-Rider  5 Str Set 45/125

Lo-Rider stainless steel bass strings are round wound and constructed on a hexagonal core. They provide more depth of tone, and are a bit stiffer than Hi-Beams. Bass players who are into slapping, popping and tapping will love the high end and depth of Lo-Rider. The slight bit of stiffness makes Lo-Rider bass strings very accurate when playing harmonics. Great consistency and great string-to-string balance are DR hallmarks.

DR Low riders > ’05 Jazz deluxe 5.

B string response more even with the other strings for this Bass. Service (via Mail) was as fast and trouble free as usual. Thanks Bass Centre.

Great strings, super tight.

i was a bit apprehensive about running a .125 for a B string but from what i hear these strings are tighter than standard High Beams or Sun Beams. and they are! thinner strings with the tautness of a .135 mean you can get a lower action, they're easier on the fretting hands and are more malleable if you have a meat hook for a right hand. sonically they sounds like High Beams but are little more poky in the mids. very nice strings.
