Sire U5 Short Scale PJ Bass
I purchased this bass from The Bass Centre in last month. I knew what I wanted to buy, so I didn't need to take advantage of their expertise on this occasion. They set the bass up perfectly and I'm loving playing it.

Great bass
I love this thing. Great for gigs on small stages. I also use it a lot when recording. There's a little bit of neck dive I might do something about one day but it's tolerable. This was my first short scale bass and - if you're considering a shorty, this one is hard to beat at the price (I got in the early covid times for $900). Quick delivery from Bass Centre was a bonus.

First Bass Guitar
Wanted to try bass guitar as I play electric guitar and was curious. Did some research and decided on the Sire U5 short scale bass. Contacted the Bass Centre and after having a chat on the phone went ahead and ordered it. Came out of the box with a decent set up and intonation correct. Came with an outstanding gig bag better than my Yamaha Rev Star bag. Easy to handle size and weight and pretty much same dimensions as my electric guitars. Being a beginner with this my first bass I cant comment on how it compares with the other brands. This is absolutely perfect for what I want and the PJ pickups sound great. Thank you Bass Centre!
