These Mark Bass Amps are pricey - but kinda kick ***.
Star Trek delivery on the microamp 801 - beamed up overnight to my Sydney CBD address (no charge) - amazing price on this amazing little amp and an amazing delivery turnaround and all only 3 days before Xmas. Paid for a Chihuahua, Got a Great Dane
What a little beast! I wondered whether having only the VPF mid-scoop for tone control might be limiting, but since I set my bigger Mark Bass CMD 121 mostly flat anyway, I reckoned this would be worth a shot for a practice amp. Got THAT right, in spades. I should have known: Mark Bass amps deliver your sound with greater transparency and clarity than any other amp I've used. And their electronics make the most of every watt of their rated power. If I had my back turned, I'd have bet the ranch I was playing through an amp six times bigger. Bark, bite and growl: this little gem does the lot. At 6.6 kg . . . you can NOT be serious! But it is. Very serious.
