more than just a one trick pony
first of all, the service at the bass centre is excellent all the specs of this bass are listed above, so there's no point me listing 'em here I think that this bass will appeal to many types of bass players, not just maiden fans [although, the west ham logo on the body might put a few people off] one thing to remember with all signature model instruments is that they've been designed in conjunction with that particular musician, so their involvement will already be a deciding factor in your decision to purchase having said that, this bass is definatley more than a 'one trick pony' or an 'instant steve harris sound' instrument the hefty bridge coupled with the maple board adds a great tone suitable for finger or plectrum players [at this point i'll avoid the whole 'tone is subjective' speech, cuz we all know that it depends on your amp, amp settings, string design, and many other variables] the steve harris signature pick ups add a great 'modern and vintage at exactly the same time' sound although you're probably best to try it out for yourself hope this makes some kinda sense
