Fantastic bass for the price

This is my 2nd Sire bought from Bass Centre this year. When buying any bass or accessories, I always check with Bass Centre first. Their service and communication has been excellent. Very happy customer. I bought the M5 to get into the world of 5 string. The sounds are usable and good, and the preamp very versatile. The bass is also light, and comfortable. The cons I've found are, finish is good for the price point, but some areas (under the horn could be buffed up more, i.e, the gloss feels a bit uneven. The other con is a well known one with the M-series. The tone control isn't as wide range due to a low-value capacitor used. I plan to switch out the capacitor in the furture. Other than that, I've done a small setup to lower the action to my liking and the bass was pretty much good to go.
