The Legend 4 Standard offers the coveted Spector NS body design at a price that is well within the reach of all bassists. The extremely comfortable curved body is crafted from lightweight, solid ash and sports a genuine flame maple top.

The five-piece maple and padauk neck features a 24 fret amara fingerboard that’s perfectly tapered for comfort. The Legend Standard also features professional quality chrome hardware, including hi-mass bridge that provides rock solid intonation and performance.

Specially designed open coil Spector P/J style pickups provide this bass with a clear, punchy tone. The pickups are complemented by a versatile two-band active EQ controls that offer 12dB of boost or cut for both treble and bass controls.

Adorned with a high gloss finish, the Legend 4 Standard provides the looks, tone, and feel of basses twice its price.

Good guitar for the price.

I own this guy's little brother (performer), and the neck feel, radius, and weight/balance are right for me (171cm height). The legend brings those qualities with active pickups that do give a noticable punch above it's little brother. I was at first surprised to note that the saddle adjustments were not operated by the thread on a bolt, but by loosening the string and manually forcing the saddle to advance or retreat. It turns out this wasn't an issue, easy to do, and locks all four in tight with a grub screws above and below. Happy with this axe.
